Parsha Gerayesh | Innovative Fashion Designer Parsha Gerayesh Collection 2011-12

Associating fashion with sculptural art is the great and intriguing concept that Parsha Gerayesh has implemented into his latest collection. Freshly graduated from the University of Westminster, Parsha Gerayesh already brought attention on him at the Graduate Fashion Week Gala where he won the Hammerson Fashion Innovation Award last June.
His graduate collection was then shown at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week SS12 and definitively made him an emerging talent to follow. His garment plays with extreme volume, architectural lines and so creates a very graphic silhouette and new shapes. The wooden structures combined with special fabrics of modern and sober colours mainly white, beige and grey offer a fresh and futuristic view on garment construction.
Fascinating and inspiring, his creations could even pretend to be art objects in a gallery. A skirt becomes a sculpture, a graphic curve that taken away from the body becomes a work of art itself.
