Sexy Western Dresses collection 2011-12 | Georgia Hardinge 2012 Collection at London Fashion Week 2011-12

Georgia Hardinge’s Autumn/Winter 2011 ‘Merit Award’ win received great praise at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout show earlier this year. The success has allowed her to collaborate with lingerie label Victoria’s Secret, earned sponsorship from Swarovski and grabbed the attention of prominent buyers and press from around the globe.
Hardinge’s Spring Summer 2012 ‘Cubed’ Collection was inspired by the dark nature of Cubo-Futurism largely influenced by the sculptural vision of Raymond Duchamp-Villon. The geometric style influenced the grey silhouette incorporating the broken orange/black lines in abstract form reflecting the fundamentals of the Cubist movement. The collection scored an optical illusion feel, especially with some of the gowns with drapes that swayed their way across the catwalk. A beautiful collection that transcends the idea of femininity, style, class and craftsmanship creating something that is gracefully sumptuousness. Hardinge is clearly a talented designer that creates a wonderful marriage between print design and garment structure – as a result you’re left to sit, watch and wonder.
