classic Chanel jacket as designed by Coco Chanel. The sewing course will encompass 2 classes per week for 3 weeks. Students will start by bringing their jacket muslins to class, for Claire to fit, cutting pieces and discussion of the quilting process for students to complete at home. The 2nd week classes will cover finishing quilting and preparing the jacket for assemblage. The 3rd week will be demos and instruction on finishing techniques and various methods and ideas used to give that signature Chanel jacket look.
