Wildy Inbar Spector 2012 Collection at London Fashion Week
Inspired by the ideals of her nation Israeli designer, Inbar Spector writes ‘In the Israeli conscious, public events and parties are linked to terror. When you go to a wedding or big party your first association is happiness mixed with great fear. This feeling inspired me throughout the process of creating this collection.’
It was this oxymoron feel of beauty and darkness that made this event so unmissable. Every detail, from the atmosphere to the aesthetics made for an outstandingly dramatic collection which brought to the ramp a demi-beautiful feel. Metallic quilted, over-sized jackets with zip detailing combined with delicately cut faux leather dresses, silk, lace and net drapes invoking a gothic edge to her collection.
