Baartmans and Siegel Menswear Summer Spring 2012 Collection at London Fashion Week 2011-12

Baartmans and Siegel introduced at their pop up collection at Luna and Curious back in June, Baartmans and Siegel return to the catwalk with their latest menswear collection for spring/summer 2012. The ‘Dusty Drifters’ collection concentrates on the unity of physical representation of man and the unseen, silent insertion into an isolated natural landscape – which is evident in their use of soft, natural colour tones harnessed in a conservative slim fitted structure.
Their focus has always been on practicality and comfort with hints of chicness however it lacks certain spark found previously in their Deckard collection. However their resources at Harrods helped immensely as the list of fabric used include soft Irish linen suits, silk-ribbed shirts, hand-knitted Breton and cable-knit glace cotton sweaters. A luxury collection for the everyman and every other man.
